John Rozankowski
I have been a community activist in the Bronx for some 20 years and participated in many local campaigns in the interest of the people. These include the campaigns against the new Yankee Stadium, against the Kingsbridge Armory project, against the term limit extension and for the Living Wage, and for including the legislative initiative in the NYC charter.
New York City's subway and buses, however, have always been my #1 field of interest. I have countless books, newspaper clippings and videos of the subway system and have followed it's history from the earliest days of the "els." I have participated in just about all of the MTA public hearings in the Bronx since 2003 and am a member of the NYC Transit Museum.
While most of my articles will focus on transit issues, I won't hesitate to write about other issues of interest to New York City.
I do hope to hear from my readers. Out of honest discussions, the best solutions will emerge.
